The Ethiopian Capital Market Authority’s February 4 2025 notice requires all publicly held Ethiopian companies with over 50 shareholders to submit detailed share‑ownership and offering information (including shareholder lists, share counts, values, offer dates, documents, and advertising details) by March 10 2025, both in hard copy to its Addis Ababa office and electronically, to integrate existing securities into the regulated market and comply with the new Public Offer and Trading of Securities Directive 1030/2024, with penalties for non‑compliance.
